Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids in April. This is the second year that Midland Air has participated in this remarkable event that helps fund the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial aid for families.
Midland Air Service Experts contributed $1000 to this incredible cause and the nationwide event has raised over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been helping with the event since 2014 and her father’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids every year.
“My dad’s riding club gets involved every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for this wonderful cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts isn’t as into the riding part of the event. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air loves being involved in their community and sponsoring incredible events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To find out more about how you can get involved and support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
